Our Team

Lisa founded Abacus Taxation Services over 20 years ago. She is a qualified Accountant (Bachelor of Commerce), a registered tax agent and Certified Practising Accountant. Lisa has a special interest in small business, tax planning and business advisory services. Her personal interests include following the stock market, competing in obstacle events with the Angels and going on adventures with her family including her four children.

Vicki is a qualified Accountant (Bachelor of Commerce) and a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA). Vicki has over 15 years of accounting experience and has a interest in small business accounting, taxation and advisory services. Vicki’s personal interests include reading, trail running, practicing yoga and spending time with her family including four boys.

Jodie is a qualified Accountant (Bachelor of Accounting) and has just begun studying to become a CPA. Jodie works with Abacus Taxation part-time, while also working at another business as a certified MYOB Consultant. Prior to completing her degree to become an accountant Jodie worked as a bookkeeper. Jodie’s personal interests include reading, yoga and spending time with her family including her young twins.

Chantal is our in-house Bookkeeper and Workflow Manager and has been with the Abacus for over 6 years . Chantal has overall 25 years bookkeeping experience, gained from working within different industries and has a vast knowledge of the popular accounting / bookkeeping software currently available. Chantal is a Quickbooks Advanced Online Certified Advisor, XERO Certified Advisor, has vast knowledge on MYOB Essentials and MYOB Accountright, has also used WAVE accounting and Reckon Software. Chantal is currently studying for Diploma in Leadership and Management.

Jorgi started with Abacus Taxation in May of 2016 and brings with her over 25 years of experience from roles worked in Administration and Office Management across the Insurance and Finance Industries. Jorgi loves the outdoors, camping, participating in obstacle courses with The Angels, running Parkrun on Saturday mornings and spending time with her family including her two grown daughters.

Semi Retired, Susan works from home as our ATO Liaison Officer. Susan’s personal interests include boating and fishing, playing board games with her grandchildren and spending the summer months either swimming or doing aqua aerobics.
